    The elaborate dome of the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Polotsk is one of the centerpiece of attraction. Statues are the live examples of master craftsmanship. The cathedral is conveniently located in the city’s old town.
    The frescoes in the cathedral are worth looking at. Listening to the old organ play is a fantastic experience. Johann Christoph Glaubitz is the principal architect of the cathedral.

    And the open air museum is covered is a large area. Visiting the open air museum is truly an immersive experience. On special days, mainly on local festivals, you will see the residents dancing and singing.
    Be prepared to walk around a lot. If you are hungry head to the stalls selling traditional food.
