    Traveling to Pula soon and can’t decide where to visit? You are in luck. And in this travel blog I’ll share with you some of my top places to visit in Pula.

    Going on a 5 days trip to Pula is sufficient to see some of the city’s top sights. So buckle on and let’s explore Pula.

    1. Brijuni


    Brijuni are a group of small islands, located off the coast of Pula.
    The islands is spread in an area of 33.9 km².

    2. Pula Arena


    Pula Arena are the ruins of an ancient Roman amphitheater complete with stands for spectators. It is one of the top things to do in Pula. In the attached museum you can see a display of coins & ceramics that the ancient civilization used.
    Pula Arena is considered one of the most well-preserved ancient theatres of the entire region. Indeed, the Roman amphitheater throws a fascinating insight into the lives of Romans. Undoubtedly, Pula Arena makes for a beautiful backdrop for your pictures.
    Pula Arena is truly a piece of our collective preserved history. During its prime the theatre could host thousands of people at a time. The style in which the Roman amphitheater is built is Ancient Roman architecture.

    Get to the look up point for fab views around. Safari is a must do, tour isn’t complete with it.

    6. Verudela


    Verudela is a renowned beach with a long promenade. It is one of the popular attractions in Pula.
    A great spot by the ocean to chill! It’s a great place for kids to visit as well. You can even take a swim here.
    The bar at the beach can serve a variety of cocktails. If you like seafood, the restaurants here are a good option.

    7. Veliki Brijun


    Veliki Brijun is an island located off the coast of Pula, and quite popular with the tourists.
    The island is spread in an area of 5.72 km². The island is located at an elevation of 55 m.

    8. Aquarium Pula


    Aquarium Pula is an aquarium located in the city of Pula. One of the favorite tourist places to visit in Pula is the Aquarium Pula.
    You can also take part in feeding sessions, makes the whole experience very interactive. There are small sharks in here, can you guess the species? You will find that the exhibits are quite educational.
    The rescued sea turtles are the most interesting aspect of the aquarium. Undoubtedly, Aquarium Pula is well kept by its staff.

    26. Pula Communal Palace


    Pula Communal Palace is a historic town located on the city’s main square in the heart of the city. Add it to your Pula trip if you have time. The town hall houses the local government of the city.
    The original one is actually gone, what you see is a reconstruction. On 1296 the town hall was opened for the public.

    28. VINA BENAZIC


    VINA BENAZIC is a winery with a nice vineyard and a wine making facility. If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Pula trip.
    I’d recommend the guided tour, it looks good. It is spread over a large area. The winery is located bit outside the town, but it isn’t to reach.
    Exhibits are informative and educational.

    30. Gortanova uvala

    Gortanova uvala is a prominent beach with plenty of Sun and sand for the visitors. Add it to your Pula trip if you have time.
    The beach is for kids too, they won’t get bored. The restaurant at the beach serve a variety of seafood. Gortanova uvala is literally a paradise on earth, so damn good.
    If you simply want to relax get one of the sun lounger. If you want a cool drink, head to one of the small beach bars.

    MEMO Museum of good Memories is a small museum in Pula city.

    32. Fenoliga


    Fenoliga is a long-standing lighthouse with a beautiful beach nearby. If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Pula trip. The lighthouse has been in continuous use since its inception. This pretty whitewashed lighthouse can be seen from miles.
    Note that the lighthouse is operational. The lighthouse has had a long standing journey through time. Paying a small fees will get you in.
    I recommend a quick visit to the lighthouse. Enjoy the fantastic views of the sea from this lighthouse.

    Indulge yourself in the fun sport of go-karting at Green Garden Go kart. Do laps, go fast and most importantly have loads of fun.
    Well, visit if you are looking for a fun way to kill time.

    City Market is a market selling all kinds of souvenirs & fashion items. Add it to your Pula trip if you have time.
    The market has no. of shops, all full of people. Haggling is required, so be prepared. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to satisfy your hunger pangs.
    The market has numerous stalls selling clothing and accessories such as belts, bags, jewelry. During the peak season, the market can get really crowded. The length of the place is around 18 m Hours might differ.

    Tito’s park is a beautiful park located right up close to the waterfront.
