Parukářka Park is a large landscaped park, an oasis of greenery, located in Žižkov.

Parukářka Park provides the visitors with a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of Žižkov. It’s easy to spend an entire day here, wandering through these flourishing gardens.

Follow the winding paths lead upto a sprawling centuries old burial ground.
The entrance is through a rustic but ornamental gate, covered with vines all over. As you take peaceful walk, you would come across myriad of structures – tombstones, sculpters and a chapel.

5. Church of Saint Roch
A beautiful addition to city’s architecture, Church of Saint Roch is a house of christian worship located in Žižkov.
It is well worth to pay a small donation, as it goes towards supporting the ongoing upkeep of this piece of history. The cemetry is where the famous and powerful people of the Žižkov are buried.

- Brought to life by the architect Jean Baptiste Mathey, church is a classic example of fine Baroque architecture.

6. Statue of Jaroslav Hašek
Erected as a monument, Statue of Jaroslav Hašek is a beautifully sculpted statue in Žižkov.

- A marvel of design, it was Karel Nepraš who was responsible for building it.
- It was in 2005 when it was established.
- The statue monument is dedicated to Jaroslav Hašek, the great Czech writer.

St. Procopius church, the centuries old landmark, is considered to be one of Žižkov’s most gorgeous churches.
Even while the facade is gorgeous in their own right, the inside is worth seeing as well. There is a cemetry on the church grounds, quite peaceful to walk around.
