In my opinion, 4 days in Odense is good time to see the best that city has to offer. But if you can add 2-3 days more you’d be able to experience rather than ‘see’ that an ordinary tourist does. Here are the best things to see in Odense along with a list of the most interesting things to do in Odense:
1. H. C. Andersens House
H. C. Andersens House is a house turned museum established in the honor of Denmark’s one of the top cultural icons.
And even if are clueless about the person, you can still appreciate the magnificent house and its garden. The home has been preserved as a museum to provide a glimpse into his life.

- The house museum was opened on 1908.
- The house museum is dedicated to Hans Christian Anderson, one of the finest Danish author.

2. The Funen Village
A chronicle of Denmark’s folk culture, The Funen Village is a huge open-air museum located on the city’s outskirts.

12. Vigelsø
Vigelsø is a small island lying off the city’s coast, only a short distance from the Odense city.
