As you tour Estonia, you can’t possibly miss visiting Nõmme. No matter what time of year you come, there’s never a shortage of things to do and sights to see in Nõmme.

Take a walk through this lovely park and simply enjoy the outdoors.
It’s easy to spend an entire day here, wandering through these flourishing gardens. Coast on a bike or take a long slow stroll, Glehn park is the place to get away from the crowds.

4. Tallinn Observatory
Tallinn Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by nation’s scientific institute.
A visit to Tallinn Observatory is truly a treat for the amateur astronomers.

A beautiful addition to city’s architecture, EELK Nõmme Rahu Congregation is a house of christian worship located in Nõmme.
Even while the facade is gorgeous in their own right, the inside is worth seeing as well. There is so much beauty in this church, from the front facade to the interior that it’s hard to choose a favorite.

6. Glehn’s Cemetery
Glehn’s Cemetery is a old cemetery, sitting in a quiet corner of Nõmme.
Peep into the fascinating stories about the individuals buried there and the country’s history as a whole. As you walk through the cemetery, you would come across decorated tombstones, somber sculpters and a cute little chapel.
A natural crowd puller, Glehn’s Cemetery is right up there in the list of best things to do in Nõmme.
7. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is an old Cathedral located in the Nõmme city.
Even the inside of the building is lavishly decorated, with gorgeous frescos, decorated walls and marble columns. The façade of the cathedral is incredibly attractive with several high-arched stained-glass windows.

- Brought to life by the architect Mikhail Timofeevich Preobrazhenskiĭ, cathedral is a classic example of fine Russian Revival architecture.

9. Kadriorg Art Museum
An interesting collection of art and culture is found inside the limits of Kadriorg Art Museum.
Top artists are well represented in the collection, as well as there are works by lesser-known artists. Numerous luminaries of the era gone by may be found in the gallery here.

A beautiful addition to city’s architecture, St Olaf’s church is a pretty old church located in Nõmme.
The inside of the church is adorned with a variety of gorgeous artwork. As this is a sacred location, anyone who want to enter are advised to cover their knees and shoulders.

You can take the hoho bus to get here, simple. From the observation deck you can see some fantastic city views.

12. Seaplane Harbour Lennusadam
Seaplane Harbour Lennusadam is a maritime museum located in the city of Nõmme.
If you are into shipbuilding and sailing you will love this museum.
The naval exhibits which includes photos & model ships is quite informative. Seaplane Harbour Lennusadam presents well the history of ships and navigation in the region.
Quick Facts:
- Some of the things Seaplane Harbour Lennusadam features include xa ship that drowned in 16th-century.
- It was in 2012 when it was established.
- Easy to get to Seaplane Harbour Lennusadam is located in xthe Tallinn aeroplane harbour.
If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Nõmme trip.

13. Kadriorg Park
Kadriorg Park is a beautifully landscaped park spread over a large area in Nõmme.
It is a good way to reconnect with nature – relax under the shady trees, watch the kids play.
One of my favorite thing to do here is simply grabbing a book, and lying down on the lap of green. Kadriorg Park allows you to spend time actively – engage yourself in walking, running or cycling.

Patarei Prison is an old city prison with a long grim history.
