1. Diósgyőr Castle
Located on top of a high hill, Diósgyőr Castle is a beautiful medieval structure.
Because of its strategic importance, controlling the castle simply implied controlling the city of Miskolc. Occasionally, you will find information boards giving you details about the place.

3. Anna Cave
Anna Cave is an extensive cave system with brilliant limestone ‘interiors’.

A visit to Szinva waterfall is warranted for every nature lover.

Szent István Cave is a beautiful cave, a monument of nature, built by geomorphic activities of mother earth.

6. Pannon Sea Museum
Pannon Sea Museum is an interesting museum located in the Miskolc city.

7. Miskolc-Avas TV Tower
Miskolc-Avas TV Tower is a soaring TV tower located in Miskolc city.
From the observation deck you can see some fantastic city views. The Miskolc-Avas TV Tower is a highly visible structure, no matter from which direction you look.

8. Lillafüredi Libegő
Thrillseekers rejoice, for Lillafüredi Libegő has everything that you could ask for a fun-filled day.
Lillafüredi Libegő presents equally fun and challenge for both kids and adults. There are plenty of interesting obstacles and climbing tracks.

9. Greek Orthodox Church and Museum
Greek Orthodox Church and Museum, one of city’s medieval church, is one of the city’s many architectural gems.
The church’s walls and ceilings are covered with intricate frescoes, and it features works by some of the well-known painters of the time. As this is a sacred location, anyone who want to enter are advised to cover their knees and shoulders.

10. Wooden Church
A small chapel made entirely of wood, Wooden Church is simple yet elegant.
All in all this small church makes for a quick stop.

- The wooden church was built somewhere around 1999.
If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Miskolc trip.

11. Mindszent Church
Mindszent Church, the centuries old landmark, is considered to be one of Miskolc’s most gorgeous churches.
The church’s walls and ceilings are covered with detailed frescoes including works by notable painters. A donation at the entrance is optional but encouraged, since it will go towards the preservation of this piece of history.

- Easy to get to Mindszent Church is located in central Miskolc.
- The church belongs to the Roman Catholic faith, but is visited by others too.

12. Miskolc Bobsled
Set admist the beautiful natural surrouding are the warm waters of Miskolc Bobsled.
The thermal waters are a must whether you’re in need of some relaxation, or if you just want to unwind in a warm bath. Locals and tourists alike have been bathing in the waters for ages.
If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Miskolc trip.

13. People’s Garden
People’s Garden is a large landscaped park, an oasis of greenery, located in Miskolc.
It is a good way to reconnect with nature – relax under the shady trees, watch the kids play.
After a whirlwind tour of the city’s big attractions, the park is almost a necessary stop to take a breather. On the weekends you will find People’s Garden to be full of people, doing all sort of things from walking to jogging, from sitting idly to rowing a boat.
But beyond the famous attractions in Miskolc, there is something that pulls you back again and again, perhaps it’s the city’s charm. All in all, whether you are a backpacker, a solo traveler, slow traveler, a female traveler or a couple there are plenty of interesting things to do in Miskolc for everyone.
