2. Devenish Island
Devenish Island is a small island lying off the city’s coast, only a short distance from the Enniskillen city.

And to top it off, the boat trip to Devenish Island itself is really enjoyable. You can also enjoy the soft sand on the pristine beach.

3. The Inniskillings Museum
For anyone interested in military history of the region, The Inniskillings Museum is a good place to start.
There are exhibits in the large outdoor area as well. Some of these include armoured vehicles and anti aircraft guns. I find medals & documents to be quite an interesting thing to observe.

4. St Macartin’s Cathedral
St Macartin’s Cathedral is a beautiful Cathedral situated in Enniskillen.
Watching the gorgeous beams of light that fall at different times of the day is a true delight. You will observe the rows of richly decorated arches and columns on the front.

Florence Court House is a manor house as grand as it gets.

7. Cole’s monument
Cole’s monument is a heart-felt monument located in Enniskillen.

- Some of the things Cole’s monument features include a viewing platform.
- Easy to get to Cole’s monument is located in the Forthill Park.
- The monument is dedicated to the Gen. Lowry Cole.
Add it to your Enniskillen trip if you have time.
8. Forthill Park
Forthill Park is a beautifully landscaped park spread over a large area in Enniskillen.
It is a good way to reconnect with nature – relax under the shady trees, watch the kids play.
Coast on a bike or take a long slow stroll, Forthill Park is the place to get away from the crowds. The Forthill Park is composed of numerous different sections including abundant lawns, fountains, a monument, shady trees and a variety of flower beds.

9. Monea castle
Monea castle is a medieval fortified structure perched over a hilltop.

If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Enniskillen trip.

10. Portora Castle
Located on top of a high hill, Portora Castle is a beautiful medieval structure.
There are trails running around the castle which takes you through the woods and to a series of vantage points. Occasionally, you will find information boards giving you details about the place.
