1. Madurodam
Madurodam is a fun museum with a collection of miniatures of the famous landmarks around the city.
The miniature scale model includes city’s famous streets, churches, squares and bridges. But all you see wasn’t developed in one go, but rather is a project that has been developed in stages.

- Madurodam is housed in a beautiful green space.
- The miniature museum was opened on 2 July 1952.
- It is Mrs Boon-van der Starp who is credited with found this gem of a site.

A museum in The Hague dedicated to collecting and preserving arts.

- It is housed in an Art Deco building, and was opened in 1866.
- The highlight of the place includes artwork by Mondrian including his last piece known as Victory Boogie-Woogie.
- It is actually Hendrik Petrus Berlage who is credited with designing this whole place.

9. Nieuwe Church
A beautiful addition to city’s architecture, Nieuwe Church is a house of christian worship located in The Hague.
Even while the facade is gorgeous in their own right, the inside is worth seeing as well. A donation at the entrance is optional but encouraged, since it will go towards the preservation of this piece of history.

- Bartholomeus van Bassen, Pieter Noorwits are the prominent architects who were involved in designing and building it.
- Some of the things Nieuwe Church features include a crypt with a number of royal tombs.
- The church belongs to the Protestant faith, but is visited by others too.

15. Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk
Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk, the centuries old landmark, is considered to be one of The Hague’s most gorgeous churches.
There is so much beauty in this church, from the front facade to the interior that it’s hard to choose a favorite. In the church grounds there is a cemetry as well.
