Slovakia has long been my favorite, with great many sights to see. As a long list of best places in Banska Stiavnica to see awaits you, the city will undoubtedly entice and enchant you.

In my opinion, 4 days in Banska Stiavnica is good time to see the best that city has to offer. 7. Castelo de Svätý Anton
Castelo de Svätý Anton is an age-old fortified structure sitting on a hilltop.
There are trails running around the castle which takes you through the woods and to a series of vantage points. Encapsulated within its walls are the unforgetable parts of Banska Stiavnica’s history.

8. Tajch Veľká Vodárenská
Tajch Veľká Vodárenská is a huge water tank, a reservoir, located in Banska Stiavnica area.
It was constructed as an artificial body of water for the purpose of water storage and supply.
There is also a park on shore, with a playground for little ones too. If you are feeling lazy, you can idle away time sitting on a bench and looking at the tranquil waters.
If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Banska Stiavnica trip.

9. Botanical Garden Banská Štiavnica
Botanical Garden Banská Štiavnica is a large expanse of green located in the very heart of Banska Stiavnica.
The garden was created to help in the scientific study of plants for research and medicinal purposes.
The dome-shaped greenhouses, mainly housing tropical plants, are the highlight of this place. Including both indoor and outdoor displays there are thousand of species in this botanical garden.

10. Church of St Catherine
A beautiful addition to city’s architecture, Church of St Catherine is a house of christian worship located in Banska Stiavnica.

13. Water Paradise Vyhne
On a hot summer day there can’t be a better idea than to visit Water Paradise Vyhne.
The water park has several fun rides, water slides, tubing wave pool and a wave machine.
Young kids have their own pool that keeps them engaged. Life guards as well as staff keep watch on the guests at all times.
