1. Sofiero Castle
Sofiero Castle is an age-old fortified structure sitting on a hilltop.
Originally, Sofiero Castle was a farmland, Prince Oscar of Sweden purchased it and transformed into his residence.
Sofiero Castle makes for a great sunny day activity. Look over the edges to the sprawling cityscape in front of you, certainly a view worthy of a click.

Kärnan is a fortified medieval tower located in the city of Helsingborg.
It was once part of the defensive walls which surrounded the city.
Kärnan was once part of a Danish fortress, which is now completely ruined. Now, it is the only remnant.

- Touching a height of 35 meters, the medieval tower was built in 14th century.
- The highlight of the place includes sweeping views of the Baltic Sea.

3. Fredriksdals Open-Air Museum
Fredriksdals Open-Air Museum is a heritage village located on the outskirts of Helsingborg.
Fredriksdals Open-Air Museum is the place to go if you’re interested in learning more about Sweden’s intriguing folk traditions.
This is the place where visitors can see traditional skills like weaving, forging, and pottery being performed in their natural environment. In the traditional rooms of the cottages, you may view period furniture and culinary items.

4. Tropikariet
A nice city zoo sheltering a myriad of animals.
This indoor center houses many exotic animals from far away places such as South America and Africa.
The zoo also hosts daily talks and regular events such as feeding demonstrations and photography workshops. Once you get in you will observe that the zoo’s animals seems to be well cared for.

5. Pålsjö forest

Start with the visitor center to help yourself get oriented. You can either walk or enjoy riding a bicycle through the lush greenery.

6. Örestrandsbadet
A popular tree lined beach with clear blue water, soft sand & a promenade.
Swim, surf, sunbath, walk, run or play – you can sketch your day as you want. After a busy day of looking around, it is just the right place to unwind by the sweeping ocean.
If you have time, it makes for a nice addition to your Helsingborg trip.
7. St. Mary Church
Don’t forget to pay a visit to St. Mary Church, which is regarded to be one of Helsingborg’s most beautiful churches.
St. Mary Church is the the oldest church in the city..
Frescoes and gold details adorn the ceiling of the church. It is well worth to pay a small donation, as it goes towards supporting the ongoing upkeep of this piece of history.

Grafiska Museet is a museum with unique collection situated in Helsingborg.
Grafiska Museet stands as one of the biggest print museum in Sweden as well as Nordic region. It was established to showcase the history of printing in the Skåne region.

- Grafiska Museet was opened in 1995.
