The 20 km distance between Singapore Airport and Downtown can be easily done by Bus. It is cheap to travel by Bus to your destination. Bus won’t drop you at your doorstep, do remember that while travel planning. The Bus line you need to take is 36, 36A.
The Bus originates from basement of Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The frequency of the Bus is every 10 minutes. The fare amount for traveling between the two is $2 SGD.
It takes approx. 1.5 hours to reach Downtown. Seat isn’t guaranteed, but there is a good chance you will find one. Bus is a good way to travel if you are wanting some comfort.
The Bus is known for having fewer no# of stops. The Bus is the preferred mode of transportation. The Bus goes through the expressway.
This is the list of stop on the way – Marine Parade Rd, Somerset Rd, Orchard Rd. The timings are 06:08 – 22:50 (Weekdays).
