Intro
Visa exemption: Following Citizens don’t require a visa to enter Cambodia: Thailand, Laos, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia.
Don’t be disappointed if you are not a citizen of any of the above country; the process to obtain a Cambodian travel visa is surprisingly easy. There are in-fact two types of visa you can obtain:
- Tourist Visa: valid up to 30 days, can be extended only once. Cost: $30
- Ordinary visa: allows multiple entries; you can get it extended multiple times, with extension up to 6 months at a time. Cost: $35
The Cambodian on arrival visa can be obtained at its international airports, and at border crossings with Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. If you are on short tour and only visiting Siem Reap or maybe the capital city, just apply for the tourist visa.
Needed Documents | Cambodia Visa on Arrival
- Passport with at least 6 months of validity.
- Passport photocopies.
- Return flight ticket – it’s okay if you have a departure flight ticket from Thailand, or Vietnam.
- 2 Passport size photographs.
