To travel from airport to Kochi city, you can use the KSRTC bus service which is fairly cheap and runs regularly at an interval of 15-20 minutes. There are different types of buses operated by KSRTC, I recommend you to get in the KSRTC Orange Bus which is an AC Volvo bus and takes you directly to Fort Kochi at a fair of less than 100/- INR. The bus also makes a stop in Cochin city if you wish to get down.
